Vintage 2023 update

With Christmas celebrations behind us, we are fully focussed on the upcoming vintage, F.O.O.D Week and the release of some new wines.

At this stage the vines are looking good, with excellent growth and disease free leaves. Given the cooler temperatures, veraison (when the berries change colour, and start ripening), is a little later than average. However the sun is beaming, and the days are warm, so we are very confident that, with good vineyard management, the grapes will ripen well.

There is plenty of soil moisture, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed for more of this stunning Orange sunshine.

Our Cellar Door, in the heart of the Millthorpe village, is open for tastings, purchases, and tapas, so drop by (book a tasting experience here).  Our new 2022 Slow Wine Co. Rosé was recently released, gaining a lovely review from wine guru Huon Hooke. It’s a favourite with tapas in the Cellar Door.
